The network has officially billed the upcoming week as a “Must See Event,” and after watching the trailer, it’s easy to see why. A relaxing boys’ trip spirals into a genuine life-or-death emergency, a beloved couple’s future hangs by a thread, and one resident is about to discover exactly how dangerous her new relationship really is.

How It All Started: A Fundraiser, an Auction, and a Trip Away
It began innocently enough. In tonight’s episode, Cash (Nicholas Cartwright) won a getaway package during John’s (Shane Withington) fundraising auction, held to keep the struggling surf lifesaving club afloat.

So next week, Cash, Levi, Mali (Kyle Shilling) and Tane (Ethan Browne) set off from Summer Bay together for what’s meant to be an action-packed adventure. Zip-lining, archery, a bit of friendly rivalry — on the surface, it looks like exactly the boost Levi needs.

That’s the chilling question the new promo poses directly to viewers — and it doesn’t waste time building up to the answer.
We see Mali frantically holding his phone in the air, desperately hunting for signal in the middle of nowhere. We see a hand clinging to the edge of a cliff as the ground crumbles beneath it. Is Levi The One Who Gets Hurt?
Eagle-eyed fans have already started piecing together clues from behind the scenes, and there’s a strong theory forming around Levi. Actor Tristan Gorey has reportedly been spotted filming with an arm brace since February, which was more recently swapped for a bandage — suggesting an injury serious enough to require months of recovery.
If Levi is the one hurt in the fall, it raises a fascinating question for his future storylines: how would a long-term injury affect his career as a surgeon? It’s the kind of twist that could ripple through Summer Bay’s medical storylines for a long while yet.
