General Hospital has Lulu Spencer (Alexa Havins Bruening) is working on a hot new story, and it seems like Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen) may be her target after an upcoming interview with Jenz Sidwell (Carlo Rota) she does at General Hospital.
Lulu’s article sends shock waves throughout Port Charles, but it could land her and Willow both in hot water. Today we’re going to talk about Lulu’s latest article, flipping Willow’s world upside down when it exposes dirty secrets.
General Hospital: Lulu Exposes a Secret
Now, we know from official Fall General Hospital spoilers that Lulu publishes a riveting article. She breaks news that exposes a secret. And that’s not all. Lulu implies that there are more secrets where that came from. This is long overdue. I think General Hospital fans will be cheering, but publishing that story might cost Lulu because the person that she exposes is going to take legal action.
And I suspect this has to do with Willow because this week’s new GH promo shows Lulu interviewing Sidwell up at General Hospital. And we also have Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) saying she wishes somebody could get Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard) to open his eyes and see who Willow really is.

What’s kind of crazy about that is Willow is not who has broken up that marriage. Brook Lynn’s lies and schemes have broken her marriage to Chase. However, it is fair to say that Willow is happy the marriage is breaking and she’s waiting in the wings to grab Chase if she can. But Chase would not have given Willow a second look in any real way if not for Brook Lynn’s lies and deciding to frame Willow for something that she did.
So, this week, headlines hit everybody’s phones in Port Charles. We’ve got Tracy Quartermaine (Jane Elliot), Brook Lynn, and Michael Corinthos (Rory Gibson) all together in the Quartermaine kitchen, and all their phones ping and their jaws drop. And official General Hospital spoilers say this week the world knows. So, sounds like at least one of Willow’s secrets are exposed, maybe more, and a promise that others will definitely spill soon.
General Hospital: Willow’s Connection to Sidwell Questioned and Dropped
Now, if you recall a couple of months ago, there were some GH summer spoilers. Those said Willow must answer for her connections to Sidwell. But that turned out to be much ado about nothing. That was late July when Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) and Molly Lansing-Davis (Kristen Vaganos) questioned Willow. And that was after Ezra Boyle (Daniel Cosgrove) was spotted driving Sidwell around after he escaped PCPD custody when he shot Lucas Jones (Van Hansis).
So, Ezra was trying to stay out of trouble and they threw Willow’s name out because she was a bigger target as a congresswoman. And they said they knew Willow had been meeting with Sidwell. So Justine Turner (Nazneen Contractor) has a vendetta against Willow because she feels like she got away with attempted murder.
And Justine is still sure that Willow is behind Drew Cain’s (Cameron Mathison) shooting. And of course she is. But at the time, Willow denied any inappropriate meetings with Sidwell. And Willow told Molly, “Any further questions have to go through my lawyer.” And they did not really have anything on Willow except for Ezra naming dropping her with Sidwell. So they had nothing to pursue, but very soon that could change and Willow may be in trouble.
Willow Finally Faces Accountability on GH
So the summer spoiler was overblown because the answer she gave Molly and Dante was, “Those meetings were nothing. Talk to my lawyer.” But of course, we know Willow has very deep ties to Sidwell. He gave Willow the paralytic she used to keep Drew locked in. In exchange, Willow used her congressional influence to help Sidwell when she took Drew’s place in Congress.
So, I think storyline delays caused by long vacations delayed Willow being exposed. If you remember, Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) and Anna Devane (Finola Hughes) have both come back to town right before that particular Willow incident. But what happens this week may finally be real accountability for Willow. And it all starts with Lulu. But Willow is not going to go down easy.
General Hospital: Perfect Timing for Willow’s World to Come Crashing Down
Now, right now, things are actually looking up for Willow. She’s finally gotten a glimmer of hope that she might get to reunite with Chase because his marriage to Brook Lynn is ending. Chase is filing legal separation this week. He’s getting a place of his own. He’s fighting for custody of Phoebe. Brook Lynn is definitely going for full custody and it gets messy.
And we’ve got Chase and Willow saying that she does not need to keep her distance from Chase anymore and they can still be friends because he’s officially splitting from Brook Lynn. Plus, Britt Westbourne (Kelly Thiebaud) is encouraging Willow to go after her second chance with Chase and Willow definitely plans to.
She just told Britt she had real love once and she let it go. And that of course was when Willow left Chase for Michael. So, Chase is the one who got away and now Willow wants him back. So, of course this is the perfect time for all of Willow’s skeletons to get yanked right out of her closet.
Sidwell Sings Like a Canary at GH
And when Lulu talks to Sidwell this week, I suspect he spills everything to Lulu. And Sidwell may do this because he has got nothing to lose or because he wants to punish the allies who have not helped him after his arrest for shooting Lucas or he may have a different agenda. General Hospital spoilers say that one secret is exposed with the possibility of more.
The question is, what secret about Willow does Sidwell spill? Because there are so many to choose from. Willow shot Drew twice in the back and tried to kill him. However, the cops can not charge her with that, but it would still make for a splashy article if Lulu outed that. Willow’s been acquitted, but that does not mean it still will not be a public scandal. Drugging Drew and causing his stroke and his locked-in status, that’s another matter. That could be criminal charges. But the thing is, what can Sidwell prove? The shooting, probably nothing, plus double jeopardy.
General Hospital: Monet Takes Willow’s Case?
But Sidwell can tell Lulu about the drugs he supplied Willow to use on Drew. He might have a paper trail. Sidwell might have recorded Willow secretly. And then, of course, she helped Sidwell with various corruption things because Willow was completely under his thumb and had to do whatever Sidwell wanted or he cut off that supply of the drug and exposed her. So, he may just spill about Willow’s congressional corruption on his behalf.
We know that after Lulu’s bombshell article comes out, she is sued for defamation. And that sounds like something that Willow would do. I could see Monet Mitchell (Blythe Howard) taking the case because she’s working with Chase on his divorce right now. And Monet seems quite ruthless.
And of course, Willow will lie and deny and say Sidwell is a desperate criminal and that he’s an attempted murderer trying anything to get out of prison and that Lulu ran an unsubstantiated hit piece on a sitting congresswoman. And of course, Drew will be laughing his butt off when he reads the article.
Sidwell’s Agenda on GH
So, Lulu is at General Hospital on Tuesday to interview a patient. Looks like that patient is Sidwell. And we could see Lulu chatting with Sidwell about the attack in Pentonville. I’m guessing he will tell Lulu that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) was behind it.
Thing is, Lulu likes Sonny, but I do not think Lulu will ignore a scoop like that. And if she prods Sidwell for more dirt, he might bring up Willow. And Sidwell may expose Willow to help himself. Sidwell may even try to use this interview to leverage Willow. And he may tell her, “I will retract everything I said if you get me out of prison.” So, we will see.
