General Hospital spoilers indicate that there’s a very good chance that Ava Jerome (Maura West) is arrested for Jack Brennan’s (Chris McKenna) disappearance.
As Drew Cain (Cameron Mathison) was the mastermind who roped the blonde into this mess, if Ava is arrested, he’ll spiral over the idea that he might be next. So let’s talk about where this crazy storyline is headed next.
Ava Jerome’s Looking Guilty
General Hospital spoilers hint that Ava is looking mighty guilty right now.
Not only to Joe Fitzpatrick (Jonathan Bennett), who’s opened a PCPD case for Brennan’s disappearance, but also William Baines (Alimi Ballard), who is investigating things on the WSB side.
The fact that Ava was the last person to speak with Brennan at the Metro Court, with two eyewitnesses confirming this fact, has her in a precarious position.
On top of all that, avoiding discussions with both the interim WSB Chief and Joe looks very suspicious.
Joe also saw red flags when Lucas Jones (Van Hansis) tried to convince him that his aunt is not a terrible person.
Even with Alexis Davis’ (Nancy Lee Grahn) legal help, Ava could still get arrested for Brennan’s disappearance.
A lot can happen in a matter of days, so if his body is found and there’s any of Ava’s DNA on it, she’ll be headed down a terrible path.
Where One Goes, The Other Does Too
With that said, Ava has already warned Drew that if she goes down for anything linked to Brennan, he’ll go down too.
After all, it was Drew’s idea to slip Brennan sleeping pills, and when they found Brennan in the Metro Court pool, he came up with the plan to bury the WSB Chief at the nature preserve next to the Quartermaine estate.
If Ava gets hauled in, either to the PCPD or into WSB custody, there’s no way she’s not throwing Drew under the bus.
Still, as all eyes are on Ava for now, she could be the first to end up in handcuffs, which may leave Drew reeling.
As General Hospital fans know, Drew has plenty of reasons to worry about his secrets being exposed.
Will he attempt to leave town or play it cool? Either way, he’ll be very nervous about what’s next!

I think Drew should be very worried right now! Ava might be willing to keep quiet while she’s free, but if she ends up in handcuffs, I can’t imagine her taking the fall for something Drew orchestrated. She’s already warned him that they’re going down together, and I wouldn’t be surprised if she makes good on that promise. The real question is whether Drew will panic and make things even worse for himself!
