General Hospital (GH) spoilers reveal that Jude Jacks’ (Wil Traval) arrival will continue to make waves in Port Charles.
Jude has already met a handful of Port Charles residents, but he’ll meet many more in the coming weeks. That includes Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard), so let’s talk about what to expect.
Jason Morgan Warns Sonny About Jude’s Sinister Family History
Jason Morgan (Steve Burton) was at the Quartermaine mansion when Jude delivered his Phoebe Chase (Luna and Lucia Creighton) biological dad revelation.
Jude also said he’s Jerry Jacks’ (Sebastian Roché) son, so alarm bells went off for Jason right away.
Jason will eventually speak with Sonny about Jude and the threat he could pose to the people they both care about.
Sonny will have plenty of reasons to worry about Jude and what he’s capable of, considering his father’s evil history.
There’ll inevitably be concerns about Jude inheriting Jerry’s sinister side and being capable of the same wicked behavior.
As previously reported, Jude’s mysterious family history has already raised questions about just how dangerous he could become.
Sonny Corinthos Vows To Protect His Family
Sonny will also be protective of Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) and her role as Phoebe’s adoptive mother.
With Jude’s custody battle threatening Brook Lynn and Chase, Sonny may feel he has no choice but to get involved.
Of course, Sonny will also fret over Josslyn Jacks (Eden McCoy) since she’s Jude’s cousin.
Despite Josslyn’s disdain for Sonny, he’s always going to look out for his former stepdaughter due to her link to Carly Spencer (Laura Wright).
Once Jason fills Sonny in on what he knows so far, Sonny will want to meet Jude for himself.
Whether Sonny runs into Jude or seeks him out, their first meeting will definitely be interesting.
Wil Traval Teases Sonny And Jude’s Tense First Meeting
In an interview with TV Insider, Wil Traval had nothing but good things to say about Maurice Benard and the talent he brings to the table.
Let’s look at what Traval revealed about the scenes ahead between Sonny and Jude.
“There is a great interaction between Jude and Sonny,” Traval said. “Working with Mo was such a delight. He’s just so still and so beautifully measured.”
Traval also described that interaction as one where Sonny and Jude are “sizing each other up,” but they won’t come right out of the gate delivering fierce threats.
It’ll be a situation where Jude and Sonny are trying to figure each other out instead.
“You don’t want to jump the gun on that one,” Traval explained. “You don’t want to get anyone on your bad side straight up.”
Will Sonny And Jude Become Bitter Enemies?
However, we have no doubt that as this storyline moves forward, Jude and Sonny will land in far more menacing territory.
Sonny won’t tolerate anyone hurting his loved ones, so Jude had better watch his back!
In fact, Sonny may try to bribe Jude to leave Phoebe alone and get out of Port Charles, but that strategy might backfire.
If Jude refuses to cooperate, things could turn ugly fast.

I’m looking forward to seeing Sonny and Jude face off! Sonny isn’t someone who backs down when his family is threatened, but Jude certainly doesn’t seem intimidated easily. I have a feeling these two are going to become bitter enemies, especially if Jude keeps pushing for custody of Phoebe. And with Jerry Jacks as his father, I wouldn’t trust Jude for a second!
