Mali jumped at the chance without hesitation. But it was Eden’s gentle nudge that changed everything, convincing Cash to offer the final spot to Levi, who’d been quietly struggling with loneliness ever since Mac returned to work.

When Cash finally reaches him, Levi is conscious again — but in unbearable pain. His arm is pinned beneath a boulder, and worse, he’s losing feeling in his hand by the minute. Drawing on his own medical background, Levi tells Cash exactly what has to happen: the boulder needs to move, no matter how much it hurts, or he risks losing the arm entirely.
While Cash fights to free him, Mali is scrambling through the bush in search of higher ground, desperate for even a single bar of signal to call for help.

Back in Summer Bay, life carries on as normal — until it doesn’t. Mac is enjoying a relaxed lunch with Eden and Abigail when her phone rings, and everything changes in an instant. Levi has been rushed to hospital. It’s touch and go.
Mali got the message out just in time, but as Mac races to be by his side, she’s about to face yet another gut-wrenching wait.

At the hospital, doctors believe they can save Levi’s life — but his arm remains a serious concern. As a surgeon, Levi’s hands are his entire livelihood, and any lasting damage could mean the end of the career and purpose that’s defined so much of who he is.
“It’s possible, if they save it, that he might never get back the full use of his hand, which changes the trajectory of his entire purpose in the Bay,” Tristan Gorey revealed to TV Week.
For Mac, this latest scare comes at the cruellest possible time — just weeks after the couple endured a devastating loss of their own. Now, she’s forced to sit in a hospital corridor once again, praying for a different outcome.
